Hope turned to despair as England were humiliatingly dumped out of Euro 2016 by an inspired Iceland in Nice on Monday night, costing Roy Hodgson his job and raising doubts over the state of English football.It was the Three Lions’ latest failure in the knockout phase of a major tournament, and leaving Hodgson having won just three games over Euro 2012, the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016.As the dust settles and the inquires begin there is no time for those involved with the national team to feel sorry for themselves as England’s journey to World Cup 2018 begins this September.They should – for better or worse – be one of the 32 in Russia in 2018, barring a cataclysmic collapse, and given the short turnaround don’t expect a full-blown revolution.With that being said here is a potential line-up, inside a 4-3-3 formation, the new manager could deploy.
